When someone I loved developed dementia, I thought I could figure it out to provide her the best possible care. I was very, very wrong. But the Education Program at ARA taught me how to be the care partner that my parent needed. And the Care Coordination program kept an eye on the services we were accessing to make sure they were delivering what they promised. Those who live with dementia, care givers and care receivers, have access to person-centered and Alaska-informed guidance through one of the biggest challenges they'll face.
